Benefits
StemPatch is a thin amniotic membrane that can be used during rhinoplasty. It is a biological matrix and acts as a containment graft to be used in combination with autologous cartilage. In a case study this graft is used in a tissue defect on the nasal tip[3]. Complete healing was noted at the 3 month follow up. This confirms that StemPatch is suitable for use during rhinoplasty surgery.
The StemPatch matrix is intended to contain the cut cartilage and will keep it viable. It is suitable for primary and revision surgery.
The StemPatch is customized for use for rhinoplasty as it is pre-shaped and cut so it can be used off the shelve. It is offered freeze dried.
